Nissan Magnite Facelift Teaser Revealed.

Nissan India has given us a glimpse of the upcoming Magnite facelift through a short teaser. The Magnite facelift will be launched in India on October 4, marking its first major update since its introduction in December 2020 and it is expected to get a new front design, light package, and alloy wheel design. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from Nissan’s latest model. The teaser reveals an updated grille, which resembles the current one but may future matte paint. Other updates include redesigned LED taillights with changes to the internal components. Previous teasers  of the Magnite facelift have shown a new six-spoke alloy wheel design, although the size is expected to remain the same as the current 16-inch units. In terms of features, Nissan is expected to give it a slight refresh. The 9-inch larger touchscreen infotainment system from the Geza variant might be offered in the top-spec Magnite, along with updated upholstery and possibly a sunroof. Features like the 7- inch digital display, wireless phone charger, and push – button start/stop will continue to be available as before. The engine options are expected to remain the same, a 72hp 1.0 litre engine and a 100hp 1.0 litre engine and a 100hp 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine. Both engines will offer a manual option, while the lower- power engine will get an AMT, and the higher power engine will come with a CVT. Nissan hasn’t launched anything completely new for almost three years now and will heavily rely on the Magnite to make a comeback in the sub – four compact SUV segment. Here, it will compete with cars like the Maruti Brezza, Renault Kiger, Toyota Taisor and Mahindra XUV 3XO. The updated Magnite is a part of Nissan India’s revitalisation plan, where it will launch five new models.
