Tata Harrier EV To Debut On June 3rd, Here’s What To Expect

Finally, Tata has revealed its intention to introduce the Harrier EV. According to the brand, the new EV in Tata’s lineup will go on sale on June 3, 2025. The Harrier EV’s exterior and design were already shown to us at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, but the company hasn’t yet disclosed many details.

The Omega platforms, on which the Tata Harrier ICE is built, serve as the foundation for the Tata Harrier EV. A few modifications to the EV’s chassis and floor allow it to accommodate the battery and other electrical components, even though the electric and ICE versions share the same platform. It is referred to as Acti. ev (gen 2) architecture by Tata.

The Tata Harrier EV’s technical specifications are still unknown. However, an electric motor mounted on the rear axle gives it an AWD setup. Additionally, it is anticipated to have a larger battery pack than the Curvv. ev and to produce 500 Nm of torque. The Tata Harrier EV largely borrows its diesel sibling’s exterior and design. It features a blacked-out D-pillar, a floating roofline, vertical LED headlamps, blade-shaped DRLs, and an integrated vertically stacked LED fog lamp in the rear bumper.

It is anticipated that the Tata Harrier EV will have wheels that are between 17 and 19 inches in diameter. A chrome-trimmed air dam, silver body cladding, a “.EV” badge on the front doors, and a “HARRIER.EV” badge on the tailgate are some of the other EV-specific features it has. The Harrier EV’s interior components are comparable to those of the current ICE version that is for sale. It has a dual-tone dashboard, touch-based HVAC controls, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, a four-spoke steering wheel, a floating touchscreen, and more.
