New Kia Carnival bookings open

Kia India is preparing to bring two new models to the Indian market in the coming month, which include the Carnival and EV 9. The EV9 is an updated MPV that was already available for sale in India. Now Customers can book the Carnival by paying a token amount of ₹1 lakh. The new Carnival is expected to be offered in a single top-spec version with multiple color options. A white-coloured new Carnival was recently spotted at Delhi Airport, indicating its imminent release. Notably, it will be imported and sold in India as a CBU, which is expected to increase the price of this MPV. Additionally, we anticipated that the price of the updated Carnival will be around ₹45 lakh to ₹50 lakh. The new Kia Carnival will feature a 2.2-liter diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The engine will generate 191 bhp of power and 441 Nm of torque. Although the Carnival may compete with the top model of Toyota Innova Hycross, due to its features, dimensions, and body style, this MPV poses a strong challenge to the Toyota Vellfire, which is priced over ₹1 crore. Inside the cabin, the Carnival will come equipped with a twin display setup featuring two 12.3-inch screens, one for infotainment and the other for the instrument panel. Additionally, it will have a heads-up display, OTA updates, Highway Driving Assist 2 ( HDA2 ) along with the ADAS suite, and eight airbags. The updated Carnival will feature new design elements such as a revised front, fascia, tweaked tiger-nose patterned grille, LED headlamps with extended LED DRLs, and redesigned front and rear bumpers.
