Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the largest car-selling company in the country, has officially announced the booking of its most- anticipated updated sedan, the Dzire. It is worth mentioning that for the past few months, Maruti Suzuki Dzire has remained the top-selling sedan in the company as well as in the country. Customers can pre-book the updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire with a token amount of ₹11,000. Several media reports claim that the updated Dzire will feature a changed exterior and interior for customers. Customers can book the updated Dzire online from the company’s official website or at the nearest Arena dealership. In terms of design, the updated Dzire features a split grille at the front, with the Suzuki logo in the centre. The headlamps are similar to those of the new Swift. Additionally, this 5- seater car will come with brand new dual-spoke alloy wheels in a black finish. At the rear, several changes have been made, including newly designed LED tails lamps and a redesigned bumper. In the cars cabin, customers will find features such as a floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a wireless smartphone charger, and an upgraded semi- digital instrument console. Additionally, for safety, the car will include a 360-degree camera along with multiple airbags. On the other hand, the car will feature a new Z- series 1.2 litre 3- cylinder petrol engine, capable of generating a maximum power of 80 bhp and a peak torque of 112 Nm. Customers will have the option of a 5- speed manual and automatic transmission in the car. Maruti Suzuki India, stated that the extraordinary journey of the Dzire since 2008 had made it a favourite sedan among Indians. It has earned the trust of over 2.7 million customers in the country.
